Desire to Work With Animals

“Her Desire was to work with Animals!”

Kay came to us a few weeks before graduating from high school. She wanted to work full time as soon as she graduated. She had worked in retail for over a year, but really wanted to work with animals and did not know how to market herself for the job change. She also needed a job nearby because she does not have a car. She had a good work history, so we focused on that and on transferable skills that she hadn’t thought of! We created a resume for her and after finding an opening at a Leesburg kennel as a pet attendant, we sent her resume to them. She called us a few days later to say she had an interview, so we reviewed a few interviewing questions. The interview went well, and she was hired a day later!
